Geology for the Mountain Leader

A range of geology courses designed to raise awareness and understanding of our mountain landscapes. These one-day field courses are designed for hillwalkers, mountain leaders & outdoor instructors. They will introduce you to the basic concepts of modern geology such as plate tectonics, volcanoes and glaciation and their role in creating the scenery of Snowdonia. You will learn to identify land forms and their creation. You will also learn how to use geology as a navigational aid.
